I rode my baby cruiser to see Mel Gibson's movie Patriot (motorcyle talk). Aside from some cultural inaccuracy concerning women of the 18th century (as pointed out by my older daugther) and the fact that Mel Gibson's character single-handedly turned and won the war, it was a really good movie. It certainly paints a picture similar to the text posted. The scenry is striking and the whole sense of a battlefield seemed horribly real.
